Flight of spirits From Women

 Special On Women's Day...

           Flight of spirits From Women

Dolly picked up her bag and came out of the house, then her elder daughter Mona said,
'Mummy, I have some work at the university'.

'Okay daughter, you take the scooter, I will take the rickshaw---'

'No no Mom, I will drop you. Where do you want to go?' 'In Sapna Building, Verma Aunty's place, and from there to Sinha and Saxena's house'

'Yes, yes, okay, let's go.'

When Dolly reached Verma Aunty's place, she was talking to someone on her mobile. Dolly brought the manicure supplies from inside and placed them on the table. While getting the manicure done, Aunty's words were heard in her ears.
'What all needs to be done in the club on Women's Day in just two days? A list has to be made of it.

So he called Mrs. Srivastava home. As soon as the manicure was over, Dolly also started doing her pedicure. Aunty Verma said to Srivastava Bhabhi,

'It has been decided as to who should be given the Woman of the Club, but as part of social work, a woman from a poor section also has to be honored. So who should be chosen?

Then Srivastava Bhabhi looked at Dolly and said,

'This Dolly has also reached here after fighting so many difficulties and working so hard, her courage has to be appreciated.'

Dolly felt embarrassed after hearing his words but said nothing. After finishing the work, she collected the things, kept them at their place, and left for Sinha Aunty's house. When I reached home after finishing my work, it was two o'clock in the afternoon. Some food was prepared, and after eating she lay down for a while, then the morning's discussion created turmoil in her mind. If she had lost courage at that time - - - -!!!

It was as if her own story appeared before Dolly's eyes like a movie - - -
She was the only sister of three brothers. Bapu had a barbershop. It was ancestral work. Mother would go after doing household chores and massaging the small children. Dolly was also fond of oil massage, so she started massaging her two younger brothers and the small children of the neighborhood. Everyone says Dolly, you have magic in your hands. Who knew then that this skill would one day become a means of livelihood? I had left school after only two or three classes. Whatever Bapu earned, he gave less to the house and spent more on drugs. Mother managed the house somehow. The brothers were also not interested in studies. So Bapu put him to work also. As soon as money came into hands at a young age, the colors of the brothers also started changing.

Dolly had just turned twelve-thirteen years old when her mother married her to Baboo. In this way, the mother was relieved from the responsibility. Baboo was the eighth pass. He had a press shop. He would iron clothes all day long and when he came home in the evening, he would often bring liquor. Dolly's father also drank alcohol, so initially, she did not see any fault in it. Dolly kept the house clean and tidy. She also took care of Manohar. She was happy in her household. She used to lovingly explain to Baboo to give up his bad habits. Everything went well for a few days,
But then again, it was all the same. Now the children were growing up. He did not like the daily chit-chat in front of him. One day, due to lack of money, she could not prepare anything good to eat, so Baboo's temper rose and he started beating her. Slowly, Dolly's stamina also started giving way and then, one day she hit Baboo's hand. Caught you. Then Baboo's temper rose. He angrily said to Dolly,
'Kali Kaluti, if you want to live, then live as I say. I will find much better than you!'

Dolly became speechless in shock.
How will she live alone, without baboo and children?? Now Dolly's way of thinking also started changing. She sent her children to school and started looking for work herself. He talked to Sister John, the nurse of the hospital who lives nearby. Sister said, 'Dolly, you are less educated, in such a situation what work will you get in the hospital? Okay, tell me, what else do you know?'
Then Dolly said that she knew the work of oil massage. Sister John got her a job as a massager at the home of a pregnant lady in the hospital. Dolly started working diligently and got the same job in two or three houses.

When I started getting some money, I started gaining courage. She started keeping that money hidden from Baboo. But one day Baboo took out his money. Then Dolly's restraint gave way. She told Baboo in clear words that she did not want to live with him. Baboo was arrogant, so he also said, 'Let me go and see who keeps you.'
Within a few days, Dolly found a one-room house and started living separately with the household items she had received from her mother. The children were also fed up with their father's beatings, so they also wanted to stay with Dolly.
Now Dolly's real battle began. She used to get nervous many times while dealing with home, children, and work. When his mother came to know about this, she asked him to compromise. But Dolly had resolved to live separately. So even her parents turned their backs on her. There was satisfaction in so many difficulties that his children were intelligent. She studied diligently. Year after year she passed with good marks. Now she bought a cheap bicycle and stopped wearing a saree and started wearing a salwar kurta. Even massage work was not available throughout the year. One of her customers Aunty taught her the work of a beauty parlor. Dolly had magic in her hands. The hands also became soft while massaging.

Soon she learned to do eyebrows, manicures, pedicures, and mehndi. The parlor madam would give her this work from time to time, and her income also started improving. Soon he bought a cheap mobile phone. But Dolly's problem
These were not finished yet. One day, while coming from work, she was hit by a driver and fell off her bicycle. There was an injury in the bone of the leg. Somehow I reached home. There was swelling in the leg. Took the daughter to the doctor. The plaster was gone for fifteen days. Dolly was shocked. If you wait for 10-15 days, your work will be out of your hands. He called and informed all the houses. His customers were good-natured, and all the customers advised him to take a rest. But Dolly was not in the habit of sitting at home. He thought of doing some work while sitting. He asked his daughter Mona to get the work of sewing pleats, buttons, and hooks on sarees from a tailoring boutique shop.

So that she could earn some income, she also started sending her daughter to learn parlor work. Along with studies, the son used to do the work of distributing papers. This also covered some of his expenses.

As soon as his leg healed, he started working with double the enthusiasm. Now his daughter has done an MBA. Son also passed 12th. So he bought a second-hand scooter. Due to this, she could easily reach even distant work.

While remembering all this, tears came to his eyes. Daughter now says Mother, you can rest as soon as you get my job. But Dolly did not want to sit idle. Sometimes Dolly thinks, if Baboo had been a good husband, would she have been able to do all this?? He gathered courage for the sake of his children. The success of her children is her only encouragement. She wants to educate them and make them so capable that they can fly high in the sky of success. He even tried to measure the entire amount of sky that was visible to her eyes with her delicate wings. This was the flight of his courage. She is neither the CEO of any company, nor the manager of any bank, nor the madam who won Aunty's Woman of the Year Award.
She is just a simple illiterate masseuse. Don't you think she is the real Woman of the Year?
Someone has spoken the truth for such people;

“I am sitting with the shadow of the sky,

Some bird should come to lift the spirits” - - - -!
God Luck and Thank You
